Kevin Hsu

Kevin Hsu is currently in his last year of the Bachelor of Music (Violin Performance) degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, where he studies with Michele Walsh. Kevin is the recipient of the Ronald Clifford Davis Scholarship. In 2022, he was awarded first place in the Basil Jones Sonata Prize and Paganini Prize. He has played with ensembles such as Ensemble Q, Australian Youth Orchestra, Queensland Youth Orchestra, and Ensemble Cherubim. In 2017, he participated in the QYS International Tour, performing in China and Germany. 

He has participated in music festivals such as the Queensland Music Festival and the Tyalgum Chamber Music Festival. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Jack Liebeck, Zoe Knighton, and Vincent Chao. Kevin currently plays on an instrument loaned by the ChiMei Foundation in Taiwan.
